Silliest joke I've heard today: Did you hear that there was a plane wreck in England. The little two-seater crashed right into grave yard. The rescue teams have already found 1529 bodies.

Fact of the day: Colgate faced a big obstacle marketing toothpaste in Spanish speaking countries. Colgate translates into the command "go hang yourself."
I wonder if they actually did that after using Colgate?
Woohoo! I did it! I finally did it! I made my Sim a SUPERSTAR!!! The only thing I'm not happy about it the pink limo she has to go around in... PINK! And it has a flamingo figurine on the front! Actually, it doesn't look all too bad, I'm just not fond of it.
My Sim also received a Simmy Award and a Silver "something"(i forgot) for fashion... :D Marilyn Monroe specially came down with a photographer to present her the Simmy Award!!! Unbelievable!
Young Kristin, the editor of our trivia publication, was having trouble with her computer. So she called Wes, the computer guy, over to her desk. Wes clicked a couple buttons and solved the problem. As he was walking away Kristin called after him, "So, what was wrong?" And he replied, "It was an ID ten T error." A puzzled expression ran riot over Kristin's face. "An ID ten T error?" What's that in case I need to fix it again?" He gave her a grin. "Haven't you ever seen an ID ten T error before?" "No." "Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out." So she pulled out a piece of paper and marked down, I-D-one-zero-T, and stared at it for a second while Wes beat a hasty retreat. Needless to say he gave Kristin's desk a wide berth the rest of the day.

A couple of my ex-classmates and I met up earlier today to visit our old school, since it was Chinese New Year's eve and everyone had a half day and were free to meet.
I love going back to my old school, meet up with my ex-classmates and teachers. It really gives such a nice feeling. Nostalgic memories... I'm not sure whether to feel happy or sad. :) /
Anyway, I met them around 11:30am at the old school canteen, the place was deserted! All the students had been dismissed and clearly they didn't waste any time getting home!
What wrong timing we chose to meet! We headed to the staff room and found out that there weren't many teachers around... :(
So we ended up talking with a teacher who had taught us Science for the first two years. He's this wacky guy, really brilliant, but he's got this awful temper! He's okay when you're just talking to him but if you're his student and you don't study for his lessons and stuff, he gets real mad and does crazy stuff!
He's been known to break and throw stuff during his fits... :!: He's also grabbed a student by the collar, real crazy guy! He has questioning sessions for almost every lesson, if you don't study and get his questions wrong, god help you!
Anyway, he caught us up on what's been happening at the school, things have changed a lot! He hasn't, though... He told us stories of what he's done to his current students.
One time, he got so angry, he slammed his hand against the overhead projector and... BOOM! The glass broke! He said the class was real shocked, he was trying to keep a straight face, he said to them, if they didn't study, the next time, that overhead projector would be their head!(Trying to scare them) He picked out the glass pieces from his hand with the blood dripping out, and the class was like really scared by then... Then he said he went out of their sight and squirmed in pain! Acting tough!
And another time, he had been eyeing a new test-tube rack in the lab and wanted to know what it's like to break it... (Crazy fella!) So, he finally got the opportunity when a student was falling asleep right in front of him, and by chance the test-tube rack was right there within reach... He broke the thing and stunned the fella right out of his sleep!
My ex-classmates were all complimenting him and saying how effective his methods were and that because of him they really studied... I don't remember myself studying that hard for his subject, but luck was always on my side and he didn't quiz me all that much... 8) Whew!
Anyway, I'm disappointed that we only got to meet him, wished we'd come earlier and met other teachers... But we listened to him talking for an hour, he's really entertaining and funny... It was nice seeing him and my ex-classmates again... :D
My inner child is sixteen? That's funny, it means my inner child is only a year younger than my real age! :?
My inner child is sixteen years old!
Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while adults might just accept that, I know something's gotta change. And it's gonna change, just as soon as I become an adult and get some power of my own.
Something happened today that will change the way I live my life forever. [cue dramatic music!] I hurt my toe on the escalator! [hold the music!] Okay, so it's not such a big deal... But it will forever change the way I view escalators! They're really dangerous! Gasp! I've never seen it this way before...
Do you know how many people are involved in escalator accidents every year? I don't, but it must be a lot!
Anyway, I was at City Hall MRT station when this kind lady saw me dapping the blood from my big toe, and she handed me a plaster... Thanks a lot, by the way, if you're reading this, which I doubt. She asked me what happened and I said I hurt it on the escalator.
She advised me to go see the control station manager or whatever. I figured she wanted me to lodge a complaint or something. But I didn't do it cos, in actual fact, I was responsible for the whole thing... I was in a rush and missed a step and my toe hit the edge of the step... I didn't know it'd be that sharp!
It tore my skin like, like, like... Ermmm, I'm not sure like what, but it was real painful! :( Anyway, how has this changed my life? After that incident, I now fear escalators! I was traumatized by the whole thing! Hmmm, maybe I should lodge a complaint after all... Sue the people in charge and have a huge court case!
Yeah, right... I'll probably forget the whole thing tomorrow! Which is why I need to post a blog on this, so I'll always keep in mind to watch my step!
My advice to all of you : Escalators are a force to be reckoned with! Beware! :!:
I don't have anything to say right now, but I haven't posted anything in a few days and I really want some tBUCKS, even though I don't use them... ;) Wow, long sentence. Anyway, I'll be pretty busy the few days, working on my personal website, to put up some of my projects. I don't have time to come up with some spectacular design so I'll just use a simple layout. :) I want to get it up and running by Wednesday, so hopefully it'll be ready by then. I've decided to use Lunarpages as my webhoster. I was so desperate to get my dad to agree to it that I volunteered to pay half the payment before he even had the chance to decide! Well, of course, by that time, he agreed to it... sheesh! 2.19AMGotta catch some sleep. Cya, wouldn't want to be ya...
I've got a new background music, got rid of that powerweb music thing and its pop-up ads... I had to upload it to my free website and the bandwidth allowed per day is only 17MB, so I had to keep it small. Around 83 kilobytes.
I made it into a flash file and made it loop 55 times. Hehe... Hope no one will be annoyed by it. Anyway, if you do you can always turn it off, since I made buttons to play and stop the music. Check it out on the left! 8)
Here's another drawing of spiderman that I did... Actually, the drawing was done last year but I only coloured it in Photoshop a few days ago.
I kinda screwed up for this one, the colour's a bit weird. Oh well...
Once again, comments?
I had to delete my avatar to upload this picture. I've used up 5 pictures already! I'll be trying to get my dad to get me a website, none of those free ones, I want a real website where I can upload my files!

Should look a bit weird here, cos tBLOG has limited the image quality...
I just heard that a friend of mine is transferring from a Junior College to a Polytechnic... Such a pity. Well, more like a waste. He's been in JC for a year now.
He said he realized that JC wasn't for him. I wished he had realized it sooner, like during the 3 months provisional course! It would have saved him a lot of time! He said he slacked away during those 3 months and only knew how tough JC life really was after school started for real.
Now, he's going to have to start all over again at the polytechnic. He'll be a year behind his friends. I hope things will turn out for the best for him there. I wish him luck and all the best for his studies...
I actually think that he made the right decision to go to poly. If he had continued on with JC, he would have wasted another year. I think polytechnics are really good as they give you internship opportunities and really train you for the workforce.
Choosing the right school and course is really important after finishing your 'O' levels(if that's what you have to take), as this will affect your career and where you end up in the future.
I made the choice to go to a private college and study multimedia design. I thought that it was for the best at that time, though I am not so sure now. However, I have made that decision and I will stick by it. I will not give up halfway and take the easy way out. I'm not saying that my friend is giving up or taking the easy way out, just that I will be responsible for my decision.
I've just read Ultimate Fantastic Four Issue #1 today. I know, I know, I got it pretty late... I was busy. :) Written by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Millar. Pencilled by Adam Kubert and inked by Denny Miki. What I have to say about it: Hmmm... It's nice, I guess :? Yeah, sure, I'd read it regularly, I guess...
The story starts off with Reed's birth, 21 years ago. Then we skip to 11 years ago, which makes him 10yrs old. Obviously, he's the geek of the school... We see him being bullied by the other kids, when, just in the nick of time...
We see, Ben Grimm! Wow... Look at him! He's this big guy(obviously!) He actually looks quite cute! Next, we are introduced to Reed's sorta dysfunctional family. Gotta feel sorry for him...
So, apparently, he's working on this experiment or project or whatever. He's found another dimension. So, at the Midtown Middle School Science Fair, he shows off his stuff. And his work impresses a man working for the government or rather, the Mainland Technology Development... This man convinces Reed's parents to send Reed to their headquarters...
When they go to the place, Reed's pretty much taken by the whole place... We also meet Professor Storm, his daughter Sue(Reed's to-be ummm, partner) and Johnny. Finally, we find out that what Reed was working on, is a project that they've also been working on! And so, we end the issue with Reed being fascinated with the whole thing...
A good start, I guess... I can't wait till the next issue and till they're actually adults. :D Brian Michael Bendis... I really like his stuff. 8) He's really cool. Well, not forgetting Mark Millar's the other writer. They're a good team. As for the graphics, it's alright... I haven't seen anything impressive yet, of course. It's only the 1st issue, there's no fighting, costumes or evildoers yet...
This game is gonna be so cool! With The Sims 2, Sims will be able to grow, from infancy through childhood, teenage life and adulthood. I am curious to see how they'll die... Maybe they can have illnesses, perhaps even die from a heart attack, or something. Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
The world that Sims live in will be 3-D, not like the one in the previous Sims. When you build their homes, you'll have new options that will allow you to create decks, attics, and build on hillsides. You'll be able to choose from hundreds of new objects, many of which can be customized from within the game. And once you've built the perfect home, you'll be able to zoom in close to see every detail of Sim life, from the food in the refrigerator to the expression of moods and feelings on your Sims' faces.
A new "Create-A-Sim" feature will allow you to easily make unique and detailed character faces with a variety of hair styles, facial hair, make-up and accessories. You'll also be able to choose from a wide selection of casual, formal, cool and crazy clothing styles.
YaY!!! I don't have any lessons tomorrow, so I can relax and play The Sims! Finally! I haven't played it for about a week... School was quite alright just now, got everything done but I didn't stay for the screening, I don't think I would have been able to bear watching other people's impressions while they watched the pathetic video my group made... :) But the downside is that I didn't have the opportunity to watch theirs either! :( Oh well, I've already watched some of them, so I guess it's not that bad...
Went for the html class today... Did some basic html stuff, since it was just the first lesson. I can never remember all those codes, I usually just use Dreamweaver. Well, at least I had some experience, prior to the lesson. The lecturer let us go early, around 8pm. Whew, I'd hate having to go back around 10! Guess I'd better polish up my html skills...
Tomorrow's not gonna be so relaxed, we're having a little screening of the short videos we made last term and then we'll be preparing them to submit to some competitions. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly... 8)
Hmmph! Haven't played The Sims in a while, haven't got the time... :(
I can't believe I slept until 2.30pm yesterday... I've been really really tired these few days since I was busy with a group project that had to be handed up at the start of the term, 5th January. So Monday was the start of my 3rd term in school, I'm not really happy with the new timetable. :(

I hate night classes! Why couldn't they have given me morning classes?!? :x
Why, oh, why? Why did school have to start so soon? *Sigh... I'm not sure I like my school anymore, only 1 week break every 3 months... I'm not even sure I 'm interested in the multimedia industry anymore... :?
But I can't stop now... My dad's already paid more than half of the fees for the school. You wouldn't believe how high the fees are! S$30,000! For two years! Since my dad's working his ass off to pay my fees, I guess I better pull myself together...
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaay!!! My Sim's star level is 4.5!!! She's a "Celebrity" now!!! Everywhere she goes, the other Sims just freak out!!! Woohoo! Soon, she'll be a "Superstar"!!! I just have to get her to be friends with one other star, then work some more, then she'll be a "Superstar"!!! :D [image]SiLenTFeaR_5691067 41.jpg[/image] Fans going wild upon her appearance... [image]SiLenTFeaR_6139605 37.jpg[/image] My Sim on the fashion runway, wearing a weird couture outfit!
Woohoo!!! My Sim's star level is 4!!! The Sims Superstar rules!!! I aaaaaammmmm soooooooooooooo haaaaaaapppppppppppppyyyy yyyyyyyyyy!!! Okay, okay... So she's not a "Superstar" yet... But at least, she the "Talk of the Town"... Hehehe... 8)
I get a kick everytime I make my Sim do the fashion runway, wearing those couture outfits... It's just so funny-looking... The outfits, and the way they walk and pose!!!
Also, the music video shoot! I crack up everytime I see her dance, do flips and ride on that flying machine! The backup dancers are really funny too!
By the way, I do have Makin' Magic, I just want to get my Sim to be a Superstar before I start working on their magic skills...
I can't wait for The Sims 2!!! :D
