Blech.. I've got so much school stuff on my mind, it's making me sick.
Firstly, I've got to start on my 3D final project, I have to create a 3D logo animation for myself or my own "company", and I have no idea! I know I should be thinking of it myself, but could anyone give me an idea? :oops: The gamecube's logo animation is pretty cool.. I wish I could do something like that.
Secondly, last Monday, I found out that somebody had deleted all my C++ project files on the school computer I was working on! What's worse is that I hadn't made a back-up copy of those file yet! I can't imagine who'd do such a thing! The drive that I had stored my files was supposed to be secure.. I still can't believe it happened!
Thirdly, last Thursday, we had to pass up a web banner.. I am a procrastinator and I'm not creative, so I had no idea what to do for the banner and waited till the night before to get started on it.. So when my lecturer was reviewing the banners, he said mine was lame! Now I know he was right and that I should be able to take criticism well, but I gotta admit I was pretty hurt.
Anyway, he's an asshole, I'm not just saying this because of what happened... He's the Multimedia Director at the school, that's why he thinks he's so great and funny. He tries to make a lot of jokes in class, most of them aren't funny, but I laugh and play along since upsetting him could affect my grades... My classmates and I also laugh because of the way he laughs after his jokes, making him think that he is very funny...
God, I hope I get through school without killing him! I'd like to write some more about how I'd torture him and making him suffer but I think that would be too violent.. I mean, I'm not that kind of person, but he really brings out that side of me.. :twisted:
I'm feeling very down, yet angry at the same time.. Actually, I have no idea what I'm feeling.. So I'm listening to these really angry and some depressing songs...
Blech, I can't believe I have these kind of songs on my computer. But they're kinda useful for when I feel like shouting my voice hoarse...
I might cheer up in a little while, "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" will be on in half an hour. That show is hilarious, just thinking about it makes me feel better! Ahhh... Alright then, till next time, cya!
There are so many drives and storage systems for computers these days! [b]CD-ROM[/b] drives, [b]CD-RW[/b] drives, [b]DVD-ROM[/b] drives, [b]DVD-RW[/b] drives, [b]floppy[/b] drives, [b]USB Flash[/b] drives, [b]Zip[/b] drives, [b]JAZ[/b] drives, [b]tape[/b] drives and of course, not forgetting the [b]important hard drives[/b]! And there's even different types; internal, external, portable!
One wonders, which ones do we really need?
I, myself have a CD-RW drive, a DVD-ROM drive, a floppy drive, a USB Flash drive, a zip drive, a portable hard drive and hehe, the normal hard drive!
Isn't it amazing how fast technology advances? What we have now will probably be obsolete in just a few months.. They'll always come up with something faster, more stylish, cooler, with higher storage capabilities, etc! And in this case, bigger isn't always better.. Small and sleek is better regarded than big and bulky. And what we bought a couple of months ago will have dropped in price and we realize that we probably should have waited a while longer..
I bought an mp3 watch, 4 years ago.. It could only contain 32MB of data but there was nothing like it at that time. I fell for it and bought it for about US$294. Nowadays, you can get an mp3 player with higher storage for a lot lesser than what I paid!
Well, I've learnt my lesson! Next time I won't rush off to buy a product that has just been released into the market!
One thing I find really cool is the portable hard drive.. I bought a Cutie DX with 30GB about 4 months ago and I find it really amazing! I think they also sell those with more than 80GB! But at the moment, 30GB is enough for me, thank you!
Whew! After 8 hours of C++ and 3D Fundamentals, I'm really...REFRESHED!!! Yeah, right! Freaking tired, is more like it... I'm glad I've got the entire day to relax tomorrow..

I did watch a horror movie just now, in the spirit of the occasion... I watched Scream on dvd! I love it, I've watched it like a thousand times! It's my all-time favourite movie! 7 years on and it's still great to watch.
Too bad my Scream dvd is not the one with all the special features and deleted scenes and all those stuff... Someday, I'm going to buy the whole trilogy set! Or if somebody wants to buy it for me, then... *hint hint!

I just came back from school about an hour ago. School was tolerable today, the C++ lesson was quite easy and the 3D lesson was kinda fun. My lecturer actually asked if I had fun during C++! Fun with C++? That sounds like the title of a reference book! :lol: Well, I wasn't bored during the lesson but I can't say I had fun... Anyway, I can't imagine anyone having fun with C++...
We went into parent-child relationships for 3D today and made sort of an incomplete solar system, actually just the sun, earth and moon... :roll: I went a little further and made a UFO for fun. :) Wasn't all that great but I just wanted to experiment and play around with it...
Never actually got around to rendering it into an .avi file, though...

Fact of the day: Seeing another person yawn makes it likely that you will yawn yourself. Thinking about, even reading about yawning can set you off. People with mental disorders such as psychoses rarely yawn.

Wow. I can't believe it... I've wasted this entire day. I didn't do anything productive.
Here's all I did today: 1. saw Lost In Translation(okay, this wasn't a waste of time...) 2. surfed the net, ocassionally stopping for meals and toilet breaks and "Hey Arnold!"
And can you believe it? There were only 4 other people in the theatre watching Lost In Translation with me... Hmmm... Probably had something to do with the fact that it was Friday and 11 AM...
Right... 12 hours on, and I'm just about ready to go to bed. Maybe, maybe not. I might decide to do some drawing in a little while...
Hopefully, I won't waste tomorrow away like I did today.

Recap: My class was given an optioneither to go for a make-up lesson tonight (and join another class for the lesson) or on the 21st of Feb(where we'll be having another make-up lesson for another subject).
So I chose to go for the earlier make-up lesson, which ended about 2 hours ago... But when the lesson started, I realised that I was the only one from my class! :shock: I knew most of them were going on the 21st but I thought that there'd be at least one other person from my class! But there was none!!!
I thought for sure that the lecturer would have to teach what he taught just now, again next week, to those classmates of mine who didn't show! Fortunately for me, at the end of the lesson, he said he'd teach something else next week so I don't have to worry about having wasted my time there just now... Whew! What a relief!
Just tell me, should I go tomorrow or should I go on 21st Feb? For what, you ask? Never mind that! I need an answer!!! Tomorrow or 21st? Alright, alright... It's my make-up class for programming integration... The lecturer gave us 2 options, to take the class tomorrow night or wait till 21st Feb.
If I go tomorrow, I'd get the recap earlier and would probably be able to follow the class exercises easier, the next lesson. But then, it'd be a night class and I absolutely dislike night classes!
If I go on the 21st Feb, I'd get the recap later and might not be able to follow his lessons that well for the next 2 lessons. But then, I wouldn't have to go for a night class! And right now, I realise that I probably didn't need to write this, since it's exactly the opposite of what I wrote in the last paragraph...
Anyway... Quick help me decide! Tomorrow night or 21st Feb noon?
